Project Coordinator

Location: Bloomfield, Connecticut

The Project Coordinator (PC) is the main liaison between RGS and the customer. The (PC) will and provide customer and internal guidance to ensure high customer satisfaction and quickest cycle times. The PC works closely with the Lead Project Coordinator, Construction teams, Sales and Sales Operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Serve as main point of contact for customers from contract countersignature to permission to operate

  • Set proper expectations for customers throughout the process

  • Stay up to date and well versed on program requirements

  • Provide clear communication to customers and to other team members

  • Insure that projects are moving through the process quickly while always looking for ways to reduce cycle time and increase accuracy

  • Actively maintain a work environment that promotes communication and team work through cooperation, transparency and accessibility

  • Maintain the installation schedule and calendar and coordinate scheduling with construction manager or foreman

  • Coordinate with internal teams such as construction, sales and sales operations to achieve high satisfaction metrics

  • Maintains ownership of all projects in their queue

  • Assist the Construction Manager to close out installations by verifying and uploading closeout forms and installation photos to Salesforce

  • Help keep the team on track

  • Stay on top of Project Coordinator Salesforce Duties

  • o Update customer last contacted date
    o Manage forecasted start and end dates
    o Close out tasks as completed
    o Update Scheduling Notes and Construction Notes as needed
    o Update design approval date and build stage initiation
    o Maintain thorough project notes
    o Communicate with team via salesforce chatter
    o Run reports to gather and disseminate data

  • Other duties as required by supervisor

Essential Qualifications:

  • Can provide thorough, quality results while working independently

  • Ability to take initiative and be proactive

  • Strong communication skills

  • Flexibility: adapt well to new information and take direction

  • Team player with excellent collaboration skills

  • Ability to use software including ADP, Concur, Salesforce, Microsoft Office

  • Must take organized notes and remain knowledgeable on projects under your ownership

  • Ability to prioritize tasks, execute quickly, take ownership and work within deadlines

  • An individual who exhibits leadership qualities, critical thinking abilities, and has an interest in clean energy

Education and experience:
High school diploma or GED minimum
College education or some college preferred
At least 3 years experience in a customer service environment or similar role
