Product Specialist II

Location: Denver, Colorado


SUMMARY
The Tier 2 Product Specialist role includes all the responsibilities of the Product Specialist: interfacing with all POWERHOUSE™ solar shingle inquiries, both from homeowners and prospective POWERHOUSE™ Professionals. The Tier 2 Product Specialist also provides additional sales support to Professionals, such as homebuilders and roofer partners, to help them sell POWERHOUSE™ to their customers. This support includes in-depth technical knowledge of solar, the POWERHOUSE™ solar shingle product and installation process, and advanced sales and customer service skills. The Tier 2 Product Specialist will also provide training and assistance to the Product Specialist team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Field initial inquiries that come through RGS Energy related to POWERHOUSE™ Solar Shingles
  • Qualify prospective homeowners for solar shingle installation and provide them contact with a local POWERHOUSE™ Professional

  • Extensive knowledge of the POWERHOUSE™ product and installation process

  • Develop and maintain relationships with POWERHOUSE™ Professionals (including homebuilders, roofers, general contractors, architects, and more), providing sales and customer support

  • Actively manage pipeline of open leads and dealer accounts, tracking activity in Salesforce

  • Address prospective customer questions and concerns via phone and email

  • Understand internal company POWERHOUSE™ processes and communicate effectively with POWERHOUSE™ team

  • Assist in the onboarding of POWERHOUSE™ Professionals when handling an inbound inquiry

  • Aid in training and support of the Product Specialist team, including sales strategies, pipeline management, dealer relationships, and more


Skills and Qualifications:


  • Meet all qualifications and responsibilities of the Product Specialist Job description

  • Sales and/or customer service experience, supervisory experience a plus

  • Account manager experience

  • Experience with a Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software, or equivalent

  • Knowledge of the solar industry is a bonus; experience in a high tech, construction, or renewable energy company highly preferred

  • Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills (both written and verbal)

  • Strong organizational skills and adaptability in a fast-paced environment

  • Ability to meet deadlines under pressure and manage multiple tasks simultaneously and independently

  • Highly motivated to meet and exceed goals

  • Prompt response to customer and dealer inquiries and needs

  • Bilingual a plus
